A Kind Word…

When life seems unfair, when we feel misused, when every day becomes a burden, our focus tends to shift from others to ourselves. We are beset on all sides by evil, whether we see it or not. I’m not talking about people, but evil spirits tempting us and telling us there is no hope.

Don’t listen.

There is hope. There is life. There is a future in Christ. But this does not make those who have placed our trust in Him immune to these evil influences. Christians falter and fail too. The only difference is we accept Jesus’s hand and allow Him to help us get back up on our feet.

If we have hope in Him, we should tell others about it and we should keep our focus on Him. Yes life is difficult and brings heartache and pain, but live for Christ and let His joy sustain you.

Bring joy to others’ lives. The tendency for us when we face difficult times is to lash out and spread that frustration on others.  Don’t let your frustration with your current circumstances lead you to cause others pain and keep your eyes upon Jesus.

Yes I’m preaching at myself, but I hope you are encouraged by this post.
