Well after over a month of editing, I’ve finally turned my manuscript back into my publisher and signed off on all changes and corrections. The Chronicles of Alethia: The Heir Comes Forth has moved beyond the editing phase and is now moving into formatting and production!
On another important notes, one of my favorite parts of any fantasy novel is the beautiful maps that accompany them. The intricate details of a fictitious world capture my imagination and allow the author’s world to become real. How could I possibly write a fantasy story without including a map for my readers?
For the past month I’ve been working with an amazing cartographer and illustrator out of France, Maxime Plasse, who has helped draw out the image of Alethia from my mind and onto the page.
Maxime Plasse is an amazing artist and very professional to work with. He provided multiple copies, suggestions, and was willing to make changes several times before delivering a high quality map for my upcoming novel. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to add a map, an essential aspect, to your fantasy novel.
What to see it? Stay tuned…
