Sometimes in life you have no choice but to head straight into the wind. You’re not facing a storm, but the wind threatens to send you backwards and erase the distance you achieved. The going gets tough and all forward momentum seems to stall. You’re forced to struggle for every inch, yet we must remember that God is with us in the good times and the bad…and even the inbetween times when the sails are slack and the doldrums reign.
“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand will lay hold of me.” (Psalms 139:7-10 NASB)
