Novel News: May 2020

Welcome to May 2020! I know many of us had a difficult March and April. We are living in a powerfully potent historical moment in time. Historians will write and dissect this period for decades to come. The question remains, what are we doing to make this world a better place inspire of the darkness around us. Our lives were disrupted and fear seemed to overwhelm. Yet we are still here! Spring is here and we celebrated Easter last month, which means new beginnings. As always, I am thrilled to be sharing what God is doing through my writing! Get ready for some more Novel News!

For the moment, all book signing events have been cancelled or postponed. I do hate that the current circumstances require that these events need to be cancelled, but I also want all my readers to stay safe and well!

The first draft of Book Three in the Chronicles of Alethia series is DONE!!! Work has begun on the second draft and hopefully I will be submitting it to my editors by Fall 2020. I’m very excited as I make edits and polish the manuscript as things are coming to a head. All the characters are facing hard choices. Can they any of them hope to stop the dragon and his army? Several of my readers asked how Book Three was coming along and my answer continues to be that the book will be longer and more intense than Book One or Book Two. The war with the dragon has led to another showdown with all our favorite characters. In addition, many of the character’s lives, which were turned upside down in the last book, must now make hard choices that will determine how the war will ultimately end. Book Three will definitely leave you asking: Is all hope lost?

So excited as the story really comes together and I look forward to sharing this and other stories with you.
